Braehead Ice Centre is now CLOSED for the summer
Braehead Ice Centre is now closed for the summer break, with on-ice activities paused until the new season begins.
Throughout the year, the rink offers a wide range of sessions for all ages and abilities — from relaxed public skating to high-energy favourites like Throwback Thursday and the ever-popular Ice Disco. Younger visitors are also well catered for, with Wee Ones sessions providing a fun and supportive introduction to the ice.
As the home of the Glasgow Clan, the venue prides itself on delivering a professional-standard ice surface and excellent facilities, ensuring a high-quality experience for all skaters during the operating season.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back after the summer, ready for another season of skating, learning and making memories on the ice.
PUBLIC SKATING SESSIONS

Ice skate hire is included in the price of your ticket.

Skating Aids
| Skating Aids | £6 per aid (limited numbers, first come first served) |
Penguin Skating Aids – Suitable for children under 1.2m (1 per person)
Ride-on Skating Aids – Suitable for children under 1m (1 adult, 1 child)
Once hired, swapping or trading with others is not permitted.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Skating Aids are designed for support, not to be used as toys.
No racing, bumping, or spinning the Skating Aids on the ice.
Staff reserve the right to remove Skating Aids if misused or deemed as unsafe.
Skating Aid purchases are non-refundable, including removal if misused.
Please return skating aids to the point of purchase when no longer required.
