1. General Information 1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors to the Braehead Ice Centre, located at Kings Inch Road, Glasgow, G51 4BN. 1.2. For any queries, please contact us on 0141 465 0101. 1.3. By entering the Braehead Ice Centre, visitors agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions 2.1. In this section, terms like “holder,” “bearer,” and “purchaser” refer to you—the individual buying tickets for Braehead Ice Centre’s Public Skate. Terms like “we,” “our,” “us,” “issuer,” and “provider” refer to the organisers of Glasgow Clan. 2.2. By choosing to buy, allocate, or hold a ticket and using it to enter the arena, you agree to our Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct. 2.3. These Terms and Conditions apply to tickets sold by Braehead Ice Centre. 2.4. By purchasing and/or using Braehead Ice Centre tickets, you confirm that the personal information you provide is accurate and current. You also consent to the processing and collection of your personal data, handled according to our privacy policy: Privacy Policy.
3. Ice Rink Terms and Conditions 3.1. Admission 3.1.1. Children 12 years and younger must be supervised on the ice by a parent or guardian aged 16 or older for safety reasons. Parents are responsible for deciding if their child is fit to skate. 3.1.2. Entry to the Ice Rink requires a valid ticket. All skaters need a ticket. Tickets are subject to the venue’s rules and regulations. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to both our Terms and Conditions and the venue’s conditions of entry. 3.1.3. Tickets include skate rental, but you can bring your own skates. Management reserves the right to refuse personal skates if deemed unsafe. 3.1.4. Braehead Ice Centre reserves the right to remove anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol or those displaying inappropriate behavior. 3.1.5. The Centre can ask visitors to leave at any time without a ticket refund. 3.1.6. The promoter reserves the right to close the rink or any part of the venue without notice. The arena’s decision is final. 3.1.7. Tickets grant access only to a session matching the value indicated on the ticket. 3.1.8. Tickets cannot be cancelled, resold, or refunded. Altering or defacing a ticket voids it. It’s your responsibility to check your tickets for errors as corrections may not be possible. 3.1.9. Lost or stolen tickets are not the responsibility of Braehead Ice Centre. 3.1.10. All tickets are subject to venue rules and licensing laws. 3.1.11. The Centre is not responsible if you miss your session due to late arrival. Refunds or alternative sessions will not be provided.
3.2. Risk 3.2.1. Ice skating carries inherent risks. Participation is entirely at your own risk. Individuals with medical conditions, recent injuries, or those taking prescribed medications should carefully assess whether it’s safe to skate. Braehead Ice Centre is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages, except for personal injuries caused by negligence on our part. 3.2.2. Personal property left at the rink or in lockers is the responsibility of the owner. 3.2.3. By entering, visitors consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. 3.2.4. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not allowed in the rink or changing areas. Only food and drinks purchased on-site are permitted in designated areas. No food is allowed in the Skate Exchange area. 3.2.5. The Centre reserves the right to close the ice rink and surrounding areas without notice if necessary. This decision is final. 3.2.6. If you are removed for inappropriate behavior, you will not be offered a refund or alternative session. 3.2.7. All customers skate and visit the venue at their own risk. 3.2.8. Braehead Ice Centre is not responsible for any injury or damage. Personal property is left at your own risk, and lockers are not liable for loss or theft unless due to our gross negligence. Lockers are available at 50p.
3.3. Entrance 3.3.1. For daytime visits, use the ground floor entrance at Braehead Shopping Centre next to Costa Coffee. 3.3.2. For Ice Disco sessions (Friday and Saturday evenings), enter via the “Boardwalk.” From Krispy Kreme (near the bus terminal), follow the River Clyde for about 2-3 minutes to the Ice Centre entrance. If inside the shopping centre, exit between Nando’s and Five Guys, turn left, and walk briefly to reach the entrance.
3.4. Skating Aids 3.4.1. Skating Aid Penguins are available for hire at £5 each, on a first-come, first-served basis from the Ice Centre shop.
3.5. Sessions 3.5.1. Sessions may be adjusted if an Ice Hockey fixture is scheduled. Always check our online calendar and book in advance. 3.5.2. Figure skating sessions are open to those at British Skating Level 1 or higher. 3.5.3. Braehead Ice Centre operates from September to March, with no sessions from April to August.
4. Tickets 4.1. Tickets for all events and activities at Braehead Ice Centre are non-refundable. 4.2. Tickets can be purchased online at https://braeheadicecentre.co.uk/book-now/. 4.3. Visitors are responsible for ensuring that ticket details are accurate at the time of purchase.
5. Liability 5.1. The Braehead Ice Centre is not liable for any loss of property or damage to belongings while on the premises. 5.2. Visitors are encouraged to secure their personal belongings and report any lost items to staff immediately.
6. Prohibited Items 6.1. A list of prohibited items that cannot be brought into the Braehead Ice Centre can be found at https://braeheadarena.co.uk/prohibited-items/. 6.2. Note: Food and drink are not included on the prohibited items list for the Braehead Ice Centre. Visitors may bring their own food and beverages unless otherwise specified for particular events. 6.3. Any prohibited items found during security checks will be confiscated and may not be returned.
7. Conduct 7.1. Visitors must adhere to all safety instructions provided by staff while on the premises. 7.2. Any behaviour deemed disruptive or unsafe may result in removal from the premises without a refund. 7.3. The Braehead Ice Centre reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual at its discretion.
8. Commercial Photography/Filming: Photography or filming for commercial purposes within Braehead Ice Centre is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from management. 8.1. Individuals or groups must obtain approval before engaging in any media activity for commercial or promotional use. 8.2 Violations: Unauthorized photography or filming may result in: Immediate removal from the venue. Temporary or permanent bans for individuals or the club responsible. Enforcement of these rules at management’s discretion.
9. Amendments 9.1. The Braehead Ice Centre reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. 9.2. It is the responsibility of visitors to review the Terms and Conditions regularly to stay informed of any updates.
