Get your skates on – The Big Christmas Skate is here at Braehead Ice Centre, bringing over 100 festive sessions to the ice throughout November and December. It’s the perfect way for families, friends, and groups to celebrate the season in a purpose-built arena filled with festive music, twinkling lights, and holiday cheer.
This year’s line-up includes themed skating experiences for all ages:
- Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree – Skate to classic festive hits under sparkling lights
- Christmas Jumper Skate – Show off your favourite festive knit
- Merry Wee Ones – Special sessions for toddlers and young children
- Grinchmas On Ice – Mischievous fun for all the family
- Skate with Santa – Meet Santa on the ice for a magical experience
- Christmas Eve Skate – One last festive spin before the big day
Each session lasts 90 minutes and tickets are £12 for adults, with skate hire included. Kids under five skate free when accompanied by a paying adult.
As part of the Clyde 1 Presents Under The Tree campaign, Braehead Ice Centre is also offering families the chance to win a skating session for up to six people, including skate hire and skating aids. Sessions are available throughout December 2025, with no age restrictions, and the rink is wheelchair-accessible so everyone can join in the festive fun.
